Our 7" Japanese Cooks Knife/Santuko is great for mincing, dicing, slicing and all cutting tasks requiring precision and balance. Inspired by Japanese design, this knife has a special feel and balance that many cooks prefer.
The blade is ice-tempered, high-carbon stainless steel, hot drop-forged, then sharpened and polished to a satin finish to ensure a sharper, thinner cutting edge.
The bolster, between the blade and the handle, is hand-ground for a perfect fit and balance.
The tang reaches almost the full length of the handle for balance and strength and has been cut and shaped to allow for a comfortable grip and contemporary look.
The black synthetic molded handle is exceptionally comfortable, durable, resistant and easy to clean.
